BIOGRAPHY/DISCOGRAPHY

PaPERHOUsE is the name of a project Adrian is working on in collaboration with two friends from a long way back: George Coleman and Rico Meron. It's a mixture of music(s) taken from trip-hop/dub/ambient/noise with a smattering of vocals (mostly sampled as they have very limited facilities for recording live vocals).

You can describe this kind of music as obscure film music. The tracks are enormously long but the band see it as an expression of their art. Perhaps some people will get confused when they listen to PaPERHOUsE for the first time. It's really no popular music but very interesting...

One tape is available at the moment. It is a split tape with previously unreleased CLICK CLICK material on the other side.

The two PaPERHOUsE tracks are:

  • Frey

  • and

  • Edgar's Garden (Section)

Personell:

Adrian Smith
(Samples/electronics/mellotron/haunted-horn/piano)

Rico Meron
